Buying Jerseys and eating Bulgogi

I apologize for the lack of daily posts!  For some reason I can't upload photos on some days.  Hopefully I can fulfill your desires for photos!

Our Public Affairs team recently ordered our Jerseys!  Here in Kunsan, every organization has a Jersey.  The jersey has the basics: name, number and organization.  Ours also list our class year (for me it will be 11-12), have the American and Korean flag on the sleeve and have a wolf head (for the wolf pack).  Since we are Public Affairs, we also have the slogan "Like us on Facebook."  I am excited to pick mine up.  Each organization wears their Jerseys around base to the various functions held, such as First Friday (which I previously attended) or the events coming up on the 4th of July!

Me in Mike's Jersey Shop.

Our first shirt...nice....
After we ordered Jersey's, Mike the Korean (no knows his real name) told us about his sister's restaurant around the corner.  We decided to try it since we wanted our Jersey's done right!  After we were seated and eating our meal guess who comes strolling in to check on us?  MIKE!

These were some little chip-thingys that we received as part of our side dishes.  They sort of taste like styrofoam! But Mike's sister thanks us!

This is one of our Airmen eating squid....

Trying a Vitamin C drink that we received for free....I was a little skeptical to try it since I was sure this was going to lead to bad things out the other end later...but I want to make sure I try everything at least once!  The drink ended up being a pretty tasty shot of Vitamin C to the face....but the results later were not pretty.  Not sure if that was from the Vitamin C or Mike's sister's chicken bulgogi.

Part of our crew....above and below!

Our Airmen not doing so well with his squid.

This was the place across the street from Goldenhill (Mike's sister's place).  We will have to try that one next time because it has the best BEFF bulgogi!

Up next: Friday night dinner: serving up some breakfast burritos to the Airmen
