Howdy! Before stopping at dinner at the Italian restaurant we took a little stroll about the Gunsan "City Park". Gunsan City is the city that is near Kunsan AB...most Americans interchange the "K" and the "G" at will. The city park is a work in progress - a wonderful effort by the Koreans to expand and beautify Gunsan City. Below I am walking on the 8ish mile "loop" that goes around the entire lake.
Behind me isn't the city, but condos in a residential area. Most of the homes are condo/apartment style here. Below is another photo of the condos. At night the bridge is lit up. I'll have to come out here one night and get a shot of it!
Around the park are burial mounds, which are pictured below. Koreans pay many respects to their dead and some stories say that the dead are buried in the mounds so they can have a good view of the area in which they are buried, such as this lake!

We rounded out the evening with a quick trip to "A-town" or American Town or International Cultural Village. This is basically a party block with a lot of bars (and a movie store). Probably not a place I will visit too often!
Finally, we stopped at a massage parlor for our happy endings.
