Going out on a work night: more water dispensers and some seaweed

After trying kimchi for the first time I think I opened a new chapter in life...the Korean chapter.  I vowed to try everything (at least once) that was put in front of me.  Wait until you hear what I have tried so far (coming up in future posts).  The captain and I took a little trip down to A-town one night to buy some patches that she wanted to send to her hubby.  See below.
Our destination was Mike's Shop (seen in background).  After leaving, we drove on over to Lotte Mart (sounds like latte)....a bigger version of E-mart that I went to earlier that day.  Sensory overload!

Browsing through the aisles I saw a lot of things that I was unfamiliar with!  For example...they had a whole section devoted to seaweed!!  Below is a photo of garlic.
Below is the seaweed selection!  Serve your self!

And below is an awesome selection of lettuce.  Man, I wish we had this selection in America!

And below...take home your very own squid pet...or dinner?

And again!  My favorite water machine in the supermarket!  How sweet is that!  Ever been to Sam's Club on a weekend?  Well you know how they have all of those food stands where you can try the food?  They have those here too...only I am not sure what I was eating!  Needless to say most of it was salty and I was parched after trying a few stands...good thing they had the water dispenser!

Above...sushi for one!

Below...soju!  Unregulated alcohol.  You can pass out with one bottle one night and the next time it might take 5 bottles to get you to that same level.  Life is like a 6-pack of soju...you never know what your going to get!

I miss you!  Up next....Paris Baguette in Korea!
